The Altar Society’s purpose is for the care of the altar, including vestments, altar linens, and vessels, and for cleaning the church weekly. Divided into monthly teams, members take turns in maintaining the church and sanctuary areas. On high feast days of Easter and Christmas, the entire society gathers to clean and beautify the church for worship.
